Last week in Chicago 21-year-old Benjamin Smith went on deadly rampage, a string of racially motivated shootings targeting blacks, Asians and Orthodox Jews -- leaving two men dead and seven wounded in two Midwestern states. It ended on Sunday with Smith's suicide. Benjamin Smith who was a member of a group called the World Church of the Creator that spreads anti-minority and anti-Semitic literature and whose members greet each other with the acronym ``Rahowa,'' which stands for ``Racial Holy War.'' Benjamin smith joined this group last year and with in this one year he was brain washed and we can see the result. That's why the Bible says in 1 John 4:1, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world." When you listen to a person, you should be very careful because the thought works as slow poisoning. In America it became a phrase that, "You should not judge anybody." But we are in the last days and we should examine what is preached from the pulpit whether it is from God or not. This question may puzzle you thinking, how can we know, whether a person is talking right or wrong?" Well, everything should be conformed with the word of God. If a person is saying the opposite of the word of God, you must be careful! As the Bible says in Galatians 1:8-9, "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." A few years back one cultic group called heavens gate was operating in USA and one day all the members of that group committed suicide. What was the reason? The leader gave instruction to the group members saying that Jesus is coming in a space shuttle through hail bop, so they should be ready to go with Him and they miserably died ending their lives. Yes, It is true that Jesus is going to come again to take His people but it does not mean that we should commit suicide and end our lives to meet Him. Why people followed Apple White? Because most of the people do not read Bible and they do not even know what is in the Bible. So when the preacher says this and that, they believe on it and follow their instructions and ends up in a mess. Some people want to interpret the Bible in their own way. Abraham did the same thing and ended up in a mess when God told him that He is going to give him a son, Abraham and Sara thought, "we are old and Sara's age of bearing a child is gone." So they tried to fulfill the promise of God with Hagar and ended up in a mess. Yes, my friend if you want to be Christ centered, you must read the Bible again and again and it will lead you in the right path. I am thankful and grateful to God who enabled me to complete two years in this ministry. When I came here (USA), I was for the first time introduced to Internet and I never thought that I could sit in my home and reach this much people with the gospel of love and compassion of Christ. When God told me to start this weekly magazine, I said, ok I will start a monthly magazine because I will not be able to put this many articles every week. But God said no, it should be weekly. Well, I said ok and it started. After sending one weeks magazine I used to think what would be next? And God gave every week's material to publish. Until last year, I was doing this all alone and it was nearly impossible to maintain my web pages every week. But I am thankful to my sister Sheela Isaac who learned web designing and started maintaining my web pages that's why you can see it up-to-date every week. I am also thankful to all my family members who helped me a lot. Still I am unable to reply each and every person but I read every mail carefully and I assure you of my and my family members tearful prayers for you. I got many letters that I am doing so many mistakes in my grammar and spellings. Last week one person wrote this letter to me, "Boy oh boy, you are sorely in need of a spell checker; and perhaps someone to look over your shoulder who has at least a ninth grader's grasp of English grammar." Well, English is not my first language. Even I studied in Hindi medium (Indian language). I had only one subject (English) till my college studies. So it happens... never mind. I have only one intention to tell you that, "Jesus loves you and you need not to live in your miserable state anymore, you need not to be in pain anymore, He is ready to wipe away all your tears...." I have a plan to start the Malayalam and Hindi version of this magazine because I know what it is in reading in our own language. Let me see how it is going to work out. Many people wrote, "you are doing this for money". One person wrote, "Why don't you start an adult site so that you may get good money through that." Well, did you see me asking for a single penny from anybody? When God called me for ministry, I said to God, "if I will have enough money to do your work then only I will take that particular work in my hand and I am not going to ask for a single penny or single naya paisa from any one. And God helped me to do His work without asking for a single penny and I hope that God will do the same in all the days of my life.To be continued....
John 6:67-68, "Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?" But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. This is the time when Lord Jesus spoke about Himself that "He is the bread of life," "He is the son of God." John 6:54, "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:56 "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. When He spoke these things many turned away from Him. John 6:66, "From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more." Today we see the same thing. People do not like to hear about salvation or eternal life. Many wrong teachings have closed their ears and it is a sad thing that they do not even know what the Bible exactly says. Let me tell you once again, social work (good works) can not help anybody to reach heaven. I heard many times people speak about feeding poor, building Hospitals, orphanage; and so on. It is indeed a good thing. Bible also says about it "to take care of poor and needy, orphans and widows," but do we really care for their soul? In India I saw when a beggar comes to the door people just want to get rid of him so they throw some penny before them and think that they have done a great job. You are caring for poor people, that's good but have you ever thought how to get them to reach heaven, how to get them to eternal life? If not what is the use of such things. You may help that person in worldly things, but that soul is still starving spiritually, and dying in sin. And if that person fails to receive eternal salvation in his/her life time. He/she will end up in eternal hell the place of eternal torment. Lord Jesus said a parable about the kingdom of heaven. Heaven is like a precious pearl. Which is more precious than diamonds and rubies of millions of dollar worth. If a person gets it he gets everything, because eternity is too long a period and Bible says that the soul of a human being will never and never die, but will live forever and ever. But the question is where is it going to live? It is either in Hell or in Heaven. Bible clearly says in Ezekiel 18:20 "The soul who sins shall die...." Yes my friend wages of sin is death. Now, who is a sinner. You may be thinking, "I am not coming in this category, because my life is good, I do not hurt anybody, I do not tell lies, I do not behave as others do, I am a good person, because I believe in God, I give money for God's work and so on......." But what the Bible says about sinners? Romans 3:23, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," All have sinned means all need redemption all need salvation, all need forgiveness of sins, All.......All.........and All.... need it that's why Lord Jesus came into this world. You are not an exception sir......Yes you need this redemption if you want to reach heaven. And salvation is that gem, that precious pearl even more precious than all the diamonds, rubies and emerald and so on.... Have you ever got this gem? Have you ever searched for it? Have you ever thought what a horrible place hell is and wanted to escape from it in any case? Have you ever earned to reach heaven? Bible says, Heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, he is seeking all the time till he finds it. and when he finds it what he does, sells all his property all the possessions all that he has to receive this pearl which is more precious than anything he has. Mathew 13:45-46, "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls," "who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it." Yes my friend, salvation is that pearl, so precious, so good, so beautiful; find it till you receive it, seek it till you get assurance, search it with your whole heart, because it is so precious. Lord Jesus paid the price for it He has shed His precious blood for you. He took all the shame, sin, guilt, all the filth of this world over Him and died as a cursed man on the cruel cross for you and me. Think about it He paid the price for the thing which you do not deserve. You can not buy it by your good works or by your money or by all of your intelligence. How precious it is. Indeed it is more precious than all the diamonds. I fond this experience in 1981, it was such a joy to receive it, it changed my whole life. The joy that I enjoyed all these years is great. I know how precious it is that's why all these years I tried to protect it. I tried to walk in God's ways. I tried to follow Him closely. Yes my friend, if you are a saved person you are indeed blessed. Protect this precious gem till life ends. Keep walking by faith in God's ways, do the things which pleases God, and the day will come when Lord will say "Well done, good and faithful servant, Enter into the joy of your lord" What a day it will be. But if you are still seeking for this gem, i.e. salvation.......... Please pray this prayer: Lord Jesus I want to receive this precious diamond Lord I want to reach heaven. Lord I know that I do not deserve it because I am a sinner, but please Lord give me this experience because you paid the price for it. Lord please wash me with your precious blood. You died for me to save me from miry clay. Please help me, I did everything to live a holy life but I failed. I know that I can not help myself, but Lord you can do it. Forgive my sins and give me a place in heaven. I pray this prayer in Jesus precious name. Amen.
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
