After twelve years, once again troops are surrounding Iraq. In the 90s American troops surrounded Iraq because Iraq invaded Kuwait. Today, people are asking whether it is good to go for war or not? War or peace? Well, Iraq and other Muslim countries have become a great threat to the whole world. Mr. Bill Clinton the former president of USA did not take any action against those who terrorized America. Terrorists attacked World Trade Center in the year 1993 when four terrorists put a bomb in underground parking lot of World Trade Center Building. In that incident six people died and more than thousand were injured. Then came the attack on the American embassy that was situated in Africa where 11 people died. Terrorist attacked USS Cole and killed 17 young men and women of USA and still there was no action. In the name of peace and in the name of love, no action was taken against terrorists. And the result was the eleventh September’s attack on Twin towers of World Trade Center where more than 3,000 people died.In spite of this heavy casualty, still we did not learn the lesson. What if Iraq makes nuclear bomb and hand over to terrorists or drops in America or in some other country? The same problem is in India Pakistan border. Pakistan has terrorized India by sending terrorists and killing people. But the present Indian Govt. did not take any action against them. Even there were communal violence and terror by Hindus against minorities, still there was no action against those terrorists.Last week in India, a 67-year-old American missionary, Joseph Cooper was attacked by RSS people for preaching the Gospel. But the most astonishing fact is that instead of condemning the murderous acts of Hindus, Government ordered Mr. Cooper to leave India within one week. The reason which was told is that he was preaching the Gospel while on visiting visa which is an illegal act. Who ever thought that this condition would come in India that is largest democratic nation? But today India is leading towards non-tolerance and violence because authorities did not take appropriate action against terrorists. As long as we support or promote violence and terror we cannot see any goodness in our lands. The Bible says in Genesis 6:13, And God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” God always hated violence and sin. He is holy God and there is no sin in Him. That was the reason why Adam and Eve were sent away from the Garden of Eden because they violated the rules of God. They sinned against God by disobeying God. And the same violent nature is flowing in every person’s vein. But there is a way out. We can get rid of this violent nature and get forgiveness of our sins by the shed blood of Jesus. Jesus came for the very purpose to save us from our sin and hell fire and to give us a holy life. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, accept Him today.
Genesis 3:14-19, So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel." To the woman He said: "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you." Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return."In these verses we see that the curse, pain, sorrow, toil, heart breaks, punishment of God, tears and death came in this world. There was no death, no pain, no sorrow before Adam and Eve sinned against God. They lived happily and there was nothing to worry. Everything was blessed and peaceful but one sin caused them to lose everything. Today we are born in this sinful and painful environment. If we see pain and sorrow in this world, the root cause of it was Adam and Eve’s rebellion against God. One sin, one disobedience brought pain and sorrow in this world. Even today many of us shed bitter tears when problems come in our lives. Many feel cursed and have no blessings in their lives. Many are sick, many are going through terrible problems and do not know what to do. Many ask, “Is there any way out? Is there any hope for me?” And many a times it seems impossible to come out of our problems. Though God punished Adam and Eve, still He loved them. Bible tells us that God always wanted to bless people and always wanted to give them peace and joy. When the Israelites were in bondage and when they lived in Egypt, they cried out because of the hardship they faced and then God heard their cry. God sent Moses to deliver His people. And He said to them in Deu 8:7-10, "For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.”God wanted to give them a blessed land where they could live in peace and without fear where they could have not much toil but have more and more blessings. God always wants to give blessings in our lives. And the reason why Jesus came in this world was to take away our pain and sorrow. He went to the place of ultimate pain and sorrow and tasted death for us so that we could come out of our pain and sorrow. Because of His death there is hope for dying humanity. Because of His sacrifice there is hope for those who go through terrible trials, pains, sufferings and brokenness. My dear friend, you may be going through terrible pain today but look to Jesus who took all your pain on the cruel cross. He took all your tears on the cruel cross and embraced the most painful death. He chose this tough way to deliver you from terrible pain and sorrow. He became curse for you so that you could be blessed. You need not to shed bitter tears anymore; you need not to live without peace anymore. You need not to be cursed anymore, that is, you need not to live in curse anymore. Because Jesus has paid the price for your blessings, for your peace and for your deliverance. Come to Jesus, He is ready to bless you.

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
