I am a 14 year old girl I am a freshmen in high school and I don't have a relationship with god.... I went to church the other day and it was the most awesome feeling I have ever had in my life... I was wondering if god could ever forgive me for the things I have done in the past..... I have a lot of family problems and I am trying to stay away from drugs or come clean anyway. My friend said that I should find god and the he would help..... How would I do that where would I start.... I use to go to church regularly and I believe in Christ. In fact I am the sound man in the church. At same time I am still sinning greatly by looking porn in Internet. It is now a habit, every 1 or 2 days I have to surf there. I have tried my best not to do that but the temptation is too strong for me to resist. I defile the temple of the God. please help me, pray for me so I wont be so lustful and addicted to pornographic material in Internet. I need help..I am leading my life in a sinful way. plzzz pray for me to come over sins…These are the haunting questions of young people. Can a young person live a holy life? Can we lead a totally sin free life? The Bible says, "Yes, we can live a holy life." David was a young boy and he learnt to live a holy life. He says in Psalms 119:9-11, "How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!"The more we allow the word of God to come and fill our heart, the more will help it us to live a holy life. Let us see how a person can live a holy life.1.Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin: The Bible says in 1 John 1:7, "…..and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." We can not live a holy life by our own efforts; but when we invite Jesus in our lives, He comes in and cleanses us from all our sins. He gives us a new life and erases all our past life as the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."Yes, invite Jesus in your life. No matter how bad your life may be, no matter how deeply you have sunk in sin still there is a God who can pull you out from all of your sinful nature. Tell Him, "Lord Jesus, I am unable to come out from my sins, please come into my heart and change me thoroughly. Please wash me with your precious blood and cleanse me thoroughly." And He will gladly do that. Give Him a chance and you will never be the same again.2. Apply His blood every day in your life: In Exodus 12th chapter, we see that, God gave command to the Israelites that they should take some of the blood of the Passover lamb and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. And further it says in Exodus 12:13, "Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt."The death angel who came to strike all the first born in the land of Egypt left the houses (that is, passed over the houses) where they found the blood on the two doorposts. The death angel did not kill their first born. In the same way when we apply the blood of the Lamb on our soul, mind, body, our thoughts, our deeds and our every act of our lives, God protects us from the plan of the devil. He protects us from sin and sinful nature. So when you wake up every day, pray to God and ask Him to cover your whole body, soul and mind with His precious blood shed on the cross so that you may not commit sin anymore. 3. Be filled with His Holy Spirit: Zechariah 4:6, So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts."Yes, We need the mighty Holy Spirit to break the power of darkness from our lives. When the Holy Spirit comes, it breaks every yoke. The Bible says in Isaiah 10:27, "It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil."If we want to break every yoke of our lives, we need the anointing of the Holy Spirit. That’s why Jesus said in John 16:13, "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."Holy Spirit helps us to walk in His Truth. He guides us in every step. The same Peter who denied Christ three times, when he got filled up with the Holy Spirit proclaimed the truth with boldness. He even gave his life for the gospel. Yes, Holy Spirit comes and gives us boldness. It gives us courage to say, "No" to every sin and sinful habits. Heb 12:1, "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,"James 1:12, "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."Bible says that the man who endures till the end is blessed and he/she will receive the crown of life. Yes my friend, temptations come, problems come but only those who face it all and walk upright till the end will receive the crown. In athletics if a runner runs well and faster than the other competitors but falls down in the middle of the race or fails to reach the mark, what will happen? He/she will not be called a winner, but a looser. The same is the case in our spiritual battle. We are all in a battle field, fighting against the devil to reach heaven. Our goal is heaven. Now the question is what to do to stay in battle field till the end. What makes a person to fall down in spiritual battle. Let us see quickly some of the drawbacks.1. Prayerlessness, and lack of Bible reading 2. Love of money3. Trying to please people rather than God 4. Wrong relationship 5. Lack of holiness Many times people fall flat and quit spiritual field, because they do not walk properly or fail to follow vital guide lines which are essential to win the battle. Again if you are an athlete and wants to run and win the race you have to fulfill certain requirements. If you do not go through regular and systematic practice prior to the race, it is certain that you will fail to win the race. In the same way succesful spiritual battle needs lots of requirements and things to be avoided.1. Prayerlessness, and lack of Bible reading: Prayer and Bible reading are the most important keys to a successful spiritual life. Bible says that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the devil himself. And remember that he is not stupid. He did not even stop to tempt Lord Jesus. He is trying to deceive and fool as many as he could and trying to pull down everybody from spiritual field. Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.When we started our ministry one thing Lord said was "if you want to stay in spiritual field till the end you must do two things everyday. Remember to pray everyday and read My word." Yes my friend this the basic requirement of Christian life. Somebody said, "if you do not read your Bible for 3-4 days, it means you have already backslidden." As our body needs regular food for growth and survival, in the same way soul needs spiritual food (Bible reading and prayer) for surviving in spiritual battle. So make it a habit to start your day with prayer and Bible reading. It will guide you, help you to walk in God's ways.2. Love of money: This is another factor which makes a person to walk away from God and get entangled in the snare of the devil. We read in Numbers 22:5 and onwards that Balak the king of Moab comes to Balaam and says, "come with me and curse the people of Israel." But Balaam refuses to him because God spoke to him that the people are blessed. Num 22:10 So Balaam said to God, "Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent to me, saying,Num 22:11 'Look, a people has come out of Egypt, and they cover the face of the earth. Come now, curse them for me; perhaps I shall be able to overpower them and drive them out.'"Num 22:12 And God said to Balaam, "You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed."But later on we find that Balak offers money to Balaam. Here Balak says,"Num 22:17 'for I will certainly honor you greatly, and I will do whatever you say to me. Therefore please come, curse this people for me.'" Here is Balaam's reply to BalakNum 22:18 Then Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, "Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more."But still later we find that Balaam goes with king Balak even after knowing that it is not according to the will of God. And we find how an angel of God appeared to the donkey of Balaam and tried to kill Balaam. The whole story tells us how a person can fall under temptation of money and how he could even go against the will of God. Yes, today number of ministries are failing because of love of money. Many ministries are working for money rather than to serve God. Judas Iscariot was one of the disciples of Lord Jesus who did the same thing. He betrayed Lord Jesus for 30 piece of silver. When he realised that because of him Jesus was going to be crucified he felt guilty and hanged himself . If you are in ministry, always remember that you are in the ministry to bring people to Christ and not to make money. If you take God's money remember that the same money will destroy you and your family and make you to beg in streets. 3. Trying to please people rather than God: The story of king Saul is before us. He tried to please people who were with him rather than God and we all know the end of Saul. He disobeyed God twice and see what God said about him? 1 Sam 15:23, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king."Many times it happens in spiritual realm that people may not agree with you. They may not like you, they may not want to talk with you or mingle with you. The reason is, if you are a spiritual person you can not do what the other people want you to do. You can not drink in their parties as they do. You can not watch movies as they do. You can not live as they live. So you need not to disturbed about that. Remember that you can not please everybody. It is always better to obey God and to please Him only.Many times in spiritual field people fail because they try to please others. What may come, always think about what God says to you and do the things which God asks you to. Many times God's ways may not look logical, but still you are going to obey God because its end is always good. Abraham walked in God's ways, when God said to him "leave your homeland and your kindred and go to the land which I am about to give it to you." Here nothing looks logical isn't it? His relatives and other people might have thought about him that he is getting crazy. He is leaving everything even his settled life and going to a foreign and unknown land. But he obeyed God and it brought blessings in his life. Well God's ways are unique and it always leads to victory. Walk in His ways and please Him and He will help you to endure till the end.4. Wrong relationship: Today wrong relationship is the main factor responsible for the ruin of many homes. In the US all over I see the same problem. We receive many tear-filled letters saying "my wife left me and gone, what am I going to do now, or my husband left me for another person." It is a very sad story. Devil is ruining our homes and families. What to do in this situation? Only God can help you, I do not see any other solution. Only prayer can break the power of the devil. Look towards God who can help you. Pray everyday for your family. Have you ever prayed this prayer? "Lord keep us together till the end" Have you ever meditated upon the covenant which you made before God at Church's alter saying "we will stay together till life ends." Keep on praying, thinking these things and He will sustain you in your marriage. When problems and strife comes don't jump up quickly and say "I am going to quit, or I am going to pack up my suitcase and going to my parent's home because I will find another one." That is not the right solution instead kneel down at the presence of God and say "Lord I want to renew my covenant which I once made at Church's alter, Lord I want to obey your command which says "(Mal 2:16,.........That He hates divorce, For it covers one's garment with violence,"If you are going to get married. Pray to the Lord "Lord I want to walk in your ways. I want to marry only one person and I want to stay with that person life long. " If you pray God will help you to stay together, He will build your home and it will be a happy home. Keep on praying. That prayer will break the powers of darkness and of devil.5. Lack of holiness: Obedience brings holiness. When a person determines to obey God in every field then only blessings come, not only that it makes a person holy in his/her walk. Again we see the life of King Saul. He failed to obey God because he did not have any fear of God. If a person fears God he/she tries to obey God Bible says fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Lord said "be holy as I am holy." He wants us to be holy, because without holiness no one can see God. Now the question is "how to get holy?"By reading His word: Ps 119:9,11 Psa 119:9 How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.Psa 119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!Let not sin rule in your life. Whenever sin enters, get rid of it as soon as possible. Repent for that sin and ask God and He will help you to walk in holiness.May God bless you.

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
