The Bible says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:12 and Proverbs 16:25) Yes, there are ways which seems right to a person but it is leading to hell directly. Many people think that whatever they do still finally they will reach heaven because God is Love, many think that if they drink and live like a dog, they also would reach heaven, many think that life is short so live to its fullest so they change wife after wife, they change boyfriends and girlfriends frequently, they live gay life or do adultery or murder and think that it is fun. Many listen hip-hop, pop or Merlin Manson’s songs and think it is fun. Yes, It may be fun for you but you are playing with your own soul. You are heading to death. The Bible says in Luke 12:4-5 "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. "But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!" If you are in this situation today and thinking it is fun, I want to tell you that you have chosen the way which leads to death. Get out of your lifestyle and look to Jesus. Isaiah 55:4, "Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people." This verse is talking about our Lord Jesus Christ that He is a witness to the people and a leader and commander for the people. Now we are going to look in the life of Jesus some of the things He did as a witness, leader and commander. Mark 1:15 says, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." In Mark 1:15 we find that Jesus starts His ministry by saying, "Repent and believe in the gospel." Matthew 21:31-32 Jesus is saying to Jewish chief priest's and elders that they will not enter the kingdom of God but tax collectors, harlots etc will enter Kingdom of God because the Jewish chief priest's and elders did not believe in Jesus but the tax collectors, and harlots believed and relented from their sins. He is going to be a Witness for all our doings and because He is a faithful Witness we will not be able to escape from His wrath. But like tax collectors and harlots if we turn to God and repent of our sins and believe in Jesus He will surely wipe away our sins and make us a righteous person. Are you ready to inherit the Kingdom of God? if not get ready by getting washed in the blood that is flowing from Calvary. Yes that crimson flow is having a divine power to cleans you and make you whiter than snow. God says in Isaiah 1:18, "…Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool." Jesus says in John 3:11, "Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness."What was that witness people were not receiving? If we look at a few verses before John 3:11 we find that Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, a Pharisee. He told Nicodemus that he needed to be born again. He further explained saying that when he took birth in this world he had a physical birth and he needed to be born in Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. Then He says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Here Jesus is making clear that a person can get the experience of getting "born of Spirit" by believing in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. Who ever believes will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:18, "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:19, "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." John 3:20 "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed." Jesus says in John 3:18-20 that every one who practices evil hates light and does not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and such a person is already condemned because he/she did not believe in the only begotten Son of God. Yes my friends every one in this world wants to practice evil and now they have a new name for it "fun" They say if we give our life to Jesus we will loose our fun." Let me tell you that you will loose your evil ways; but you will find the real fun, the real joy, the real happiness when you accept Him because it comes from the Prince of Peace the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is still alive to transform life, to give peace, to take you out of any situation you may be going through.May the Lord help you to put your trust in the Lord.
There is a beautiful song in Malayalam, which says: krushinmel, krushinmel kanunna areita,prananathan, prananathan en perkai chagunu,Itra mam snehathe etra nal talli nhanEe Maha papathe Devame orkale,It means: On the cross, on the cross who is hanging there,Savior, Savior who is dying for me,How many times I have rejected this great love,Please, do not remember this great sin O God. Yes my friend how many times have we rejected the love of God because of the pleasures of life, how many times we ignored God and His commandments because of the love of money, How many times we interpret the word of God to suit our own convenience. Once a person told a very funny thing which, whenever I remember I laugh and laugh. Psalms 18:8, says, "Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it." He said, "look what this verse says ‘smoke went up from His (God's) nostrils.’ If God can smoke why not I? What is wrong in it to do smoking?" How bad it is that many times people take Bible verses and use it according to their own convenience. God has kept His commandments so that we can walk according to God's will. He is a mighty God, He is a sovereign God, He does not delight in sin. He does not like to see the people whom He created in His own image, in His own likeness, to live in sin and perish in hell fire. Certainly not!!Now let us see quickly some of the qualities of God Almighty:1.God is Love: Bible says, "He is love." John 3:16, says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." God loved us so much that He did not spare His one and only son but He gave Him for our sake so that we may not die in sin, so that we may not get the punishment for our sins. Bible says in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." Yes what a great love it is, nobody will love you in this world as God loves, when you go through tears you will find none to console you, when you go through poverty nobody will be there to look after you. But remember there is a God who loves you -Who watches all your tears. Look toward God, He is always there to love you and console you. Instead of shedding tears before man, shed tears at the feet of Jesus. He will console you and comfort you. We see that God loved us so much that He sent His only son, Lord Jesus to die for you and me. He gave His life for you to save you from eternal damnation. Think about that greatness of God. Have you ever received Him as your Lord and Savior? Have you ever said, "Lord I need you, you are everything for me?" Think about it, how many times you have rejected Him. How many times.......How many times.......He has been knocking at your hearts door. Have you ever invited Him into your life? Have you ever said, "Lord, Come in, come and live with me". If not this is the time to invite Him into your heart. Give Him a chance and you will see how he makes you a new person. How He changes your life forever and gives you peace and joy which the world can not give.2. God is Holy: He is Holy. He dwells in marvelous light, 1 Timothy 6:16, "who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen." God is Holy. again in Revelation we see, He is Holy Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy……" Revelation 4:8, "The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!" He is the holy God and Bible says that without holiness no one can see God. He is such a mighty God. He does not delight in sin, He can not see sin, and if you want to reach to that Holy God you need holiness. Let us see how it comes, how can a person become holy in the sight of God. Answer is - through the Blood of Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:7, ".….and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." This is the only way to get rid of sin and receive holiness. Lord Jesus died to give us a place in heaven, where the God almighty, who is holy dwells. Lord did His part. Now we have to do our part. We have to receive this great salvation by faith. John 1:12, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:" This is the key, if you receive Him you will receive eternal life or if you reject Him you will get eternal damnation in hell fire. What about you? Are you willing to receive this great salvation for which Lord Jesus came and died? 3. God is righteous Judge: Bible says, Lord Jesus came once as a Savior but He is going to come again and He will judge the world. Mathew 16:27, "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works." Revelation, 22:12, "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." One day we all have to stand before His throne. Bible says every knee shall bow before Him. He is going to judge each and every one. Question is how you are going to stand that day before Him - as a blood washed person or as a sinner. As a holy person or as a defiled. As a blessed person or cursed person who is ready to go in hell fire. What you are going to do? Think about it, it is time to repent from your sins and get saved before it is too late. One day you have to stand before Him, one day you have to bow down before Him. It is good to kneel down now and get forgiveness of sins, it is good to repent now and get a place in heaven or it will be too late. If you are not sure of your destiny, please pray this prayer and ask Jesus to give you everlasting life. Please Pray: Lord Jesus I know that you are the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. I know that you are holy God and no one can see you without holiness. I know that you are the soon coming king. You are going to come again to give rewards to each one. Lord today I confess my sins, please wash me with your precious blood and give me a place in heaven. I want to live with you for ever. Please help me to know you personally. Please Lord forgive my sins. Now on you are my God, you are my master, you are my savior. In Jesus name I pray Amen

I had put in a prayer request on August 10th (standing in the gap fasting prayer) that I who had been contemplating suicide and my marriage was on the rocks has started feeling the change in my married life. My husband is more loving and understanding. We do have our ups and down less often that we had before but I have to be more tolerant of the situation.Cynthia
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
