I was reading a news report about Indian Cricket player Raman Lamba who died when he was playing Cricket, he was just 38 years old. Yes, death can come to anybody young or old. There is no right time for it. But what happens when a person dies, and where does he go? Researchers and the Bible say that the soul goes to one of the two places, one is beautiful and other is horrible. But if you accepted Christ in your heart as your personal savior and are washed with His precious blood then you have eternal life in Christ Jesus. Their is no death. Just one life it will soon be past but only what's done for Christ will last forever. If you have any prayer request please feel free to send it to us. we will pray for you.
The Bible says in Rom 2:7 "To them who, by patient continuance in well doing, seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life (is given)." And the Bible also says in Isa 40:31 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Yes, when we wait upon God, He gives the blessings in our lives. But when we can't wait patiently upon God we lose the blessings of God. In the Bible we read about Saul, that he could not wait upon God, as the Bible says in I Sam 13:11-14, "And Samuel said, 'What hast thou done?' And Saul said, 'Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; Therefore said I, 'The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD': I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering. And Samuel said to Saul, 'Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which He commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever." 14th verse: But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought Him a man after His own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over His people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.' " Hear we can see that Saul lost his kingdom and afterwards even lost his own life just because he could not be patient in the Lord. He looked to people rather than God, and because of it,, distraction came in his life. The Bible also tells about the wife of Lot in Gen 19:24-26 "When the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And He overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But Lot's wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt." She could not resist herself to look back to see what was going on? She could not be patient in the Lord and could not obey God, and that's why this happened to her. We see about Jonah in the Bible that when God said to him to go to Nineveh Jonah1:3 "But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD." And Because of that he was cast into the sea and swallowed by a fish. When God says something, how many times do we fail to obey God and to be patient in the Lord! Many times God says "do this", but we want to do something different and because of that we too go through problems. Because of this many people lose their best things in theirlives and because of this many people have a lot of problems. But we should be obedient as Jesus was obedient unto death, as the Bible says in Phil 2:8 -9 "And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name." Why not humble ourselves, be obedient, and be patient in the Lord; and God will certainly bless us.
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
