Exodus 2:2 –3, "So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's bank." Here we see about Moses. He was born in a very difficult situation when the king ordered to kill all the mail child of the Hebrews. And the Bible says that Moses’s mother hid him for three months. I read somewhere that she could hide her child because the Egyptian army never enters in kitchen and she might have put him in kitchen. Well, whatever it may be, she reached to a stage when she could no longer hide her child. She might have thought, "what will happen to my child, will he die?" Yes, she reached the end where every hope ends. Are you in this stage today? Are you in a situation where you may be thinking, "I can not go any further?" Are you thinking, "I am done, there is no hope for me?" But if you read about Moses, the Bible says in Exodus 2nd Chapter how marvelously God not only rescued him but he was raised in the palace of the Pharaoh the same Pharaoh who was seeking his life. God can do the same thing for you. Your future is not over if you are in the hands of God. If we read about Hannah in 1Samuel 1st chapter, we can see how her heart was filled with bitterness because she was a broken hearted person. She had no child. Her rival Peninnah used to provoke her and because of that she used to weep and did not eat. She had no smile on her face. And it is never easy to put a smile on your face when you are in deep distress, it is never easy to put a smile on your face when you are lacking something which others have and you do not, it is never easy to put a smile on your face when you are going through problems, it is never easy to put a smile on your face when people around you continue mocking you or provoking you. And the Bible says that Hannah was in that situation. But she looked to God and asked God for what she was lacking in her life and God heard her prayers and she bore a son called Samuel. She says in 1 Samuel 2:1, "My heart rejoices in the LORD; My horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation." Oh Yes, God can take your shame and put a smile on your face so that you may smile at your enemies who mocked at you, who provoked you. There is nothing impossible with God. Peace in the midst of Storms

Mark 4:37 -38, "And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling". 38, "But He was in the storm, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" As I wrote in last week's issue by title "Prince of Peace" in the year 1992 we saw a terrible storm in our life. Because we were doing Lord's work, people wanted to kill my brother. We suffered for 2 long years. We were in a very desperate situation. No body was there to help us. We lived as nearly in house arrest situation. We never knew how to miss Church service but we could not go to Church for nearly 1 year, 8 months in one stretch and during the next 4 months we could attend only for 2-3 services. Lord spoke several things through dreams and visions and we could know every time what the enemy has planned next. God could help us to escape from that. It was 7th Dec 92 when we woke up that morning. My brother said, "I saw a silly dream. In the dream I saw that 3 parrots died due to heat on the terrace". We laughed and laughed. We did not take that dream seriously. The very same day at 11 O'clock we three (I my brother and sister) were standing on the terrace. A person known to us fired 10-12 bullets on us from very close range nearly 10-12 feet away. We were not aware what was going on, we heard sound from gun shots and turned to see what was going on. Only one bullet went just above our head and I asked, "what's that, is it a bird , can a bird fly in such a high speed". Later my brother saw a revolver in that person's hand and we went down. Then only we knew that the dream was not a silly one, but God showed the things which devil has planned for us. God sent His angels and protected us. Many times I thought, "that every thing is moving to an end. Our family is going to shatter, our life is going to end. But God of miracles who cares for us said, "no it is not going to end. You are not going to die, I will not allow you to sink, no devil will ever touch you. Not only God said that, but He did that. He rescued us from deep waters". Many times when I look back and remember those great things which God has done in our life I shed tears of joy. What a great God who is able to rescue us from any situation. Today you may be going through tears. Today you might have said, "no one is there to help me, nobody is there to rescue me from deep depression, nobody is there to rescue me from this financial burden, nobody is there to restore my marriage, nobody is there to pull me out from drugs and sin". Remember, Lord Jesus is always there to hear your cry. He is able to deliver you no matter what may be your situation today. No matter how deeply you've sunk in your problem. No matter how far you've gone in sinful life. But Jesus is ready to rescue you, He is ready to wipe away all your tears. He is ready to pull you out from sin. Lord says in Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, 'Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool".Invite Jesus in your Boat: Jesus is the source of all blessings. He is the fountain of joy. He is the savior of the world. If you want joy and peace in your life, if you want a place in heaven, if you want to get rid of all your problems, invite Jesus into your heart and life. Invite Him into your boat. When master will come He will repair every thing and make you a person of joy. Many times I see people having every thing in life, having lot of money, but still their face looks as 6 O'clock. Why? Because Jesus is not in their boat. I used to go to one house very often. The lady of that house always looked upset, she used to say the same thing always, "we do not have money, how money will come" I thought in my heart, "she is living in a big house, she has car, her children are settled in life, but still there is no joy". Why? Joy comes from Jesus alone, remember money can not give you joy. The key is, when Jesus comes, joy, peace and happiness follows. What ever may happen, how ever big the storm may be if Jesus is in your boat you will always rejoice. You may be walking through the valley of death, you may be going through terrible financial crisis, one side your marriage may be looking doomed, you may be going through loneliness and be in helpless situations, but on the other side you will feel the peace of savior, and experience the joy which Lord gives. Lord will say, "don't give up, I've overcome the world, you will also overcome it". Lord will say, "don't give up gold and silver in mine I will restore your finance". Lord will say, "don't give up you have eternal life, I've written your name in the book of life." One day you will reach heaven". This is the hope for a believer. Is Jesus is in your boat? Have you ever invited Jesus into your boat? If not invite Him today and He will calm down the storms which is raging in your life. Mark 4:39, "Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm". Where master is, there is peace. Please pray this prayer: Lord Jesus I've tried every thing in my life. Till this time I was the master of my life, but today I invite you into my life. Lord, please come and take control of my life. I surrender my life into your hand. I surrender myself just as I am. Come into my boat and make me your child. Wash me with your precious blood. Forgive all my sins and give me eternal life. Change me wholly and remove all the sin from my life. I promise you today onwards I will love you. I will walk in your ways. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
Weep for this spoiled generation

Isaiah 22:4, "Therefore said I, Look away from me: I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people." Last time we saw why this bitterness and why this weeping in that we looked upon the reason and reached to a conclusion that it is because of iniquity or in other words it is because of sin. Today we are going to meditate on why the writer says, "labor not to comfort me". The very next portion gives us the answer "because of spoiling of the daughter of my people." Here a man of God is saying that he will weep bitterly and does not want to be comforted because he cannot see the agony of his people. Do you say that you are a Servant of God? Do you say that you are bringing good news to the masses? Every True Servant of God has a quality of getting troubled with the trouble of his/her people. When devil is eating up the society, when young people are falling in sin, when nations after nations are being devoured by devil, how can a Servant of God keep quite and simply watch them going into destruction? Let us quickly look what some people did when they saw devil stealing away the integrity and holiness, When they saw their people being destroyed. Let us turn to Nehemiah 1:4 " And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven," Here a prophet of God sat down and wept and mourned for certain days. Why did he do that? because he heard something. What was that something? we find it in Nehemiah 1:3 " And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire." Nehemiah was in king's palace when he heard this news. He was holding a very high position. He was well off. He might have thought, "why bother, I am ok, I have no trouble." But look at what he is doing. When he heard the news that his city is desolate, the walls of Jerusalem is broken down, his people are in great reproach, he sat down and wept. Not for 5 minutes or ten minutes but he mourned for days, fasted and prayed. You servants of God reading this message, do you have any concern when the walls are being broken, enemy is eating up our people, and every where there is weeping and crying. Do you have any concern for the young people who are getting caught in drugs, gangs and all kinds of sinful activities? If you have not learned to weep for this spoiled generation, there will be one day when Lord Jesus will ask you account of every thing. Thank God there was one prophet named Nehemiah who wept, fasted and prayed for his people. And could rescue the remnant of Jerusalem. He rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem. Are you building your own walls today? Or building the broken walls of Jerusalem? Check your life today. Not only did he pray. He took permission from King to go and help rebuild the walls and restore the city. Do you say, "I have a big position. I am a great person and I cannot leave my job and work for the Lord?" Nehemiah was a big person. He was cup bearer but nothing could stop him from doing God's will.Let us look about another prophet In Exodus 32 we read that Children of Israel sinned against God. When Moses had gone to the mountain, People of Israel created a calf and began to worship it and when Moses came back he saw what had happened. He was greatly disturbed and he calls people unto repentance and pleads with God for their forgiveness. And Moses cries out to God saying Exodus 32:31, "And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, these people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. Exodus 32:32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written." Yes the mighty prophet of God is saying forgive this people or blot my name out of your book. If you read Revelation 20:15 you know the impact of the prayer. Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." If Moses's name is blotted out of God's book (book of Life) that means he had to be put in the lake of fire forever. You can see Moses having so much love for the people he brought out from Egypt that he even went to the extent of saying, "O Lord if you do not forgive this people blot my name out of your book." Yes not only this incident but on many occasions Moses had pleaded to God for redemption of his people. Do you have a heart to plead for your people? Do you spend time before the King of kings pleading for your people? If not it is time that you get on to your knees and start pleading for them. Yes if you do not have burden for the souls that are perishing and souls that are going toward Lake of Fire, you cannot call yourself a servant of God. May God help you realize where you are and help you that you may be found in the perfect will of God.
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 9th Sep. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 9th Sep. 2008
