I am publishing a testimony of a young lady from India (South Asia). How she found peace in her life and living a wonderful life which is full of joy, peace and happiness. Yes my friends you can have this wonderful life. As you read this testimony, it is my wish and it is my prayer that The Prince of Peace Jesus Himself give you the heavenly peace and joy.
I was born & brought up in a strict disciplined Christian family. As I grow older and older I felt very disappointed and dejected in life. I do not have any peace in my life though we were nothing lacking in our lives, we had so much money to spend, big house, servants etc. Finally I turn to movies & novels to search the peace. But as I went through it I felt more restless & peaceless. I came to the point where I started thinking that why I am living in this world? I was at the end of the road.One day I was listening a radio program in which the message was going on, "If you want peace in your life, you must confess your sins and accept Jesus in your heart as your personal Lord and Savior and turn to Christ otherwise one day when you will leave the world you will have to go to hell. Those words penetrated in my heart deeply. I knelt down and cried to the Lord Jesus Christ that please forgive my sins and wash me with your precious blood and I invited Jesus to come into my heart. If I am living today only because of the love of Jesus. What I was and what I am today I know only. I lived 16 years of miserable life. But when Jesus came into my life He changed whole thing even the miserablity of the long-long 16 years in a split second. After that I got a great peace and joy in my life. He wiped away all my tears .He gave me peace, joy and happiness unspeakable. He pulled me out from the pit of distraction, sin and darkness and gave me eternal life, a life full of joy. Before turning to Christ nothing was good in my life. I was not good in my studies even I struggle to pass in every class. Can you imagine an average student can expect any good marks in exams? But after turning to Christ I expected good things from Jesus and I did my Masters in Botany with first class and second position in College.Not only that I was suffered with allergy and citrica. Citrica is a very painful disease. I suffered with much pain in my both legs. Many times I thought that I would never walk again as I was almost crippled. Medical science was useless for me. But with a humble and a grateful heart I can say if I am walking today, only because of Jesus. The healing power of Jesus healed me & made me whole.Years passed by today also He is faithful. Taste Him in your life. This wonderful life can be yours, if you turn to Christ.
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Feb. 2012
