Isa 6:1-4, “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory! And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.”Seraphims are one of the kind of angels about whom we know very little except from the vision of Isaiah. These angelic beings have six wings and they are in the presence of God, praising Him with loud voice. Even with the voice of one seraph the posts of the door were shaken and the house was filled with smoke.Such incidents of similar nature were seen in Moses’, Ezekiel’s and John’s life when they saw visions of God, and in the presence of God, smoke or fire filled around their surroundings. When the Israelites came out of Egypt and when they were at the foot of mount Sinai God came down as we read in Exo 19:17-18, “And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.”Same thing happened when Moses and Solomon inaugurated the temple of God. We read in Exo 40:34-35, “Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.”God also instructed Moses to make the Ark of the Covenant and to place two cherubim over it. God told him that He would come and meet him at the mercy seat and would talk to him. All these things indicate that Seraphim and Cherubim are always there where God dwells or descends. Wherever God’s presence is there, angels would descend too. These angels are ministering spirits. When Isaiah was in the holy presence of God, he realized his unworthiness and he cried out. A seraphim flew towards him to minister to him as we read in Isa 6:6-7, “Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged."Once we went to attend a refresher course of Jesus Calls Ministry. Dad was already in USA and mom had to stay alone all the days when we had gone. We were very much worried how she would live alone though one sister had agreed to come and sleep at night. But as soon as we entered into the campus we felt the presence of God so strongly that we forgot all our worries. God filled our hearts with great peace and helped us to enjoy our stay there. God’s Holy presence did this for us.Moses, Solomon and Ezekiel were ordinary persons like you and me, yet they could enjoy the presence of God. The reason was very simple that they pleased God, they walked in the ways of God. If we walk in the ways of God and obey His commandments, we too can enjoy His Holy presence in our lives. We too can have encounter with God and angels.
The Mother’s Day Miracle
Rom 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Last week Dad had fever. Two days later my brother and mom also got fever. On Friday night my brother had high fever. He also had to attend a wedding on Saturday morning. He was not in a position to sit for hours together and so he decided to skip the wedding ceremony and to directly go to the reception at 12.30 p.m. Around 12 o’clock my mom who still had fever woke up and wanted to go to toilet. As she walked, she felt dizzy and sat on a chair, then she asked us to hold her and to walk her to the washroom. I held her with my right arm and we walked toward the washroom. We had hardly walked a few steps when I heard a big noise. She fell unconscious on the hard floor. I started screaming. Hearing my screams my sister also started screaming. Brother called 911 and she was taken to the hospital. Though she regained consciousness yet she remained in semiconscious state for more than 2-3 hours.My brother and I accompanied her to the hospital. While sitting in the hospital the scene of her lying on the floor played before my eyes again and again. She was on my right hand side while walking but amazingly she was lying on the floor on my left side. On the right hand side there were many newly filled clay pots and also kitchen counter top was there. She could have hit the counter top or clay pots but to my surprise she was on my left hand side where everything was clear. When I thought about it there was no explanation except praise in my heart. Without a doubt I realized that her landing on the left hand side was because of the intervention of almighty God. More than that she had no fracture or any scratch nothing on her body. She fell because her blood pressure was low. Moreover it was a miracle that my brother was in home at that time. Next day was Mother’s day. She recovered well and was discharged from the hospital a day later. We are thankful for the mighty hand of God who upheld her and protected her.

Dear Sister Shirly Issac,I had mailed a Prayer Request 7 Months before. I said that my marriage is in trouble as my wife left me and took my daughter too with her. But we have a mighty God. He heard your prayers and also mine. Praise the Lord. He made my wife accept me. Ever since then we have been living together for the past 6 months. Please continue to pray for the challenges I am facing.Thank you for your prayers.Your Brother in Christ,IndiaHello Friends!Recently I sent to you a prayer request. At the time I sent the prayer request there was only a 25% chance that baby Caroline wouldn't have to have this surgery. The doctor says Caroline is in the clear and WILL NOT have to have the surgery. She is healing. Praise God! Her mother my niece said that when the Doctor gave her the 25% percent chance then she wouldn't have to have the surgery and wanted her to come back in 2 months he didn't know how many people she could ask to pray during the 2 months before he wanted the baby to be tested again! Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 14th July. 2009
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Jul. 2009
